A pattern for you to knit a comfy, cheerful pair of socks
Incorporating a simple cable pattern, the pattern uses 4 ply/sock yarn for the main sections and a 4 ply contrast yarn for the toes and heels
Adult UK size 4/5/6 - just work 1 less pattern repeat(s) if knitting size 4

Knitted on a set of 2.75 mm double ended needles
Uses 100g of main shade and 25 g of contrast
The heel is 'set in' (knitted after the rest of the sock is complete, by picking up stitches set aside for the heel) This technique makes for a closer fitting sock, with a very comfy heel
