These ones are machine washable

Using one of these each day with a cleanser, micellar water or just soap & water is a simple way to reduce waste, and save you money.

Use any cotton DK yarn - cottonsoft, baby cottons or a cotton & bamboo mix, all work well

Each 100g ball provides enough yarn to knit up to 7 washcloths - each approx 14 cm square

All the cloths are knitted on 3.25 mm knitting needles
One design also uses a small cable pin for a simple cable pattern


ARE MAKE-UP WIPES BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?
Millions of facewipes are going to landfill each day in the UK
They are mostly single use plastics, like carrier bags, so take 100's of years to degrade

And make-up wipes are becoming an increasingly large problem for our environment, particularly our coastline. A report by the Marine Conservation Society has shown that the number of wet wipes washed up on British beaches has increased by 50% since 2013.

With an average of 35 wipes found for every kilometre of beach, this is a serious problem that is only getting worse. The reason wet wipes are littering our coast line is due to people flushing them down the toilet rather than throwing used wipes in the bin.
