This is a simple knitting pattern for a stylish two tone hat, using DK/worsted yarn
2 sizes - Small 52 cm/Medium 56 cm

Called the 'Bonnie Bun Hat' as it reminds me of the individual sponge cakes we used to buy from the bakers shop in the 1960's... round, with sugar sprinkled on top and a paper wrap round the sides. We called it a 'Sair Heidy' (a sore head) as we children thought it resembled your head when the Dr tied a bandage round it :)
And Bonnie is Scots for pretty/beautiful

The hat is knitted on circular needles - size 3.75 cm x 60 cm long
Or a set of 4 double ended needles if you prefer.
Requires a total of 75 (85) g of DK yarn
