(Hoxa Head is a place on the South East of the mainland of Orkney. In 2020 pods of Orca have been spotted very close to the rocky shoreline - very exciting!)

This comfy, warm hat was knitted in Cascade 220, a lovely soft 100% pure wool Aran.
This can be substituted by you with any aran yarn.

The hat has a wide cable pattern, suitable for those new to knitting, and is knitted on straight knitting pins, making it a quick, satisfying knit for beginner and experienced knitters alike.
Knitted on 4 mm & 5 mm knitting needles
You will also need a cable pin

This hat would make a lovely gift, handknitted by you.

The pattern is adult sized.

The hat looks great with a faux fur or wool bobble - or without a bobble.
