THE BARRA BOBBLE HAT

This comfy, warm hat was knitted in Novita 7 Veljesta (Brothers), a lovely 100% wool Aran which comes in a variety of beautiful shades and is made in Finland.
This can be substituted by you with any aran yarn.

Inspired by a trip North to Aberdeenshire last year, where we stayed in a small but beautiful self catering unit at Barra Castle, just outside Inverurie. Aberdeenshire is full of wonderful castles - Barra is privately owned but many others are open to visitors (normally!)

The hat has is knitted on straight knitting pins and only uses one colour in each row, making it a quick, satisfying knit for beginner and experienced knitters alike.

The pattern is for baby, child and adult sizes.

The hat looks great with a faux fur or wool bobble - or without a bobble.
Photos show it with a bobble, without the bobble and in baby size in 2 shades of pink.
